Fundraising

We are a very small charity and we have to continually fund raise in order to survive. It would be greatly appreciated if you could follow the link to our 'just giving' page and donate whatever you can.

Help to support our children

We receive money, like all pre-schools, from the Local Authority in three ways:

The Free Entitlement Funding (FEF), via the Local Authority, for children over the age of 3
A grant for eligible 2 year old children
Money for children who have an Education and Healthcare Plan (EHCP)

BUT

The FEF is insufficient to cover our running costs
We fund the support for children with additional needs until the Borough finalises the EHCP and this can take some time
Hence we have to fund raise continually.

We raise funds in a variety of ways such as, bake sales, special events, sponsored activities and asking people to become a ‘Friend’ of the Pre-school by donating a regular monthly amount via our JustGiving site.
